I had a really hard time with the background, any suggestions? Could not find the right color or pattern. Thanks for any help. Do you think maybe I need to reduce the size of the picture to show more background?

I know what you mean..I find it hard to find backgrounds for beach pictures. I was thinking maybe one of the sunset or yellow paint papers from Lynn Grievson's Summer Breeze kit would work well. I love this photo and what you have done with it. I don't think you need to make it smaller. I used a photo from the microsoft photo gallery as background in the lake picture I scrapped of my daughter kayaking. I reduced the opacity and added an overlay to tone it down. This photo would look good with a sunset background.

Thanks Ruth, played around a bit more and used this picture I had from our cruise, as a background, I like it better. Thanks again for the suggestion.
