Balmorhea

There is a place in west Texas in the Fort Davis mountains called Balmorhea. It has this awesome underground spring fed pool that has water that is around 76 degrees year round. The water is so clear, you can see clear as a bell even in 30 feet! It is a local favorite for snorkelers and scuba divers. You can swim among endangered pup fish, big black cat fish, soft shell turtles and an array of other fresh water marine life. While we were in Fort Davis, we also went to the observatory. We got to look through their telescopes and see Jupiter, the moon, the milky way and many other terrestrial bodies!
