IF your asking, I like #3. I would (to balance it out) ditch the "C" and increase the size of the 3 pics. The B&W brings uniformity to the LO and doesn't comepete w/ the (lovely) muted colors. Love the little tree over the date. I like it also because it is the one that shows the largest photo of your babies! If you want your "C" initial, make it huge. Large enough to comepletely fill the large photo in the center. Choose your font, color the text white or light gray and then opaque it by at least 50%. It will "encircle" your babies face like a frame. I do like the first one also. Have you tried making those photo's b&w or sepia? (sometimes the sepia tone appears harsh. To aleviate that, I just use the brighten tool and Lighten it up a few shades). If your husband thinks the photos are crunched, try putting your names in your 1st box w/ your salutations, and then you can expand your photos and perhaps use another small embellishment, like a ribbon or something. I like the "C" in the middle. Keep it red though, it pops better against the brown. Don't mean to be a blabber mouth, but nice LO's get me all inspired, and they are ALL very nice LO's!

Thank you so much for your help.. It gives me different things to try and helps me to make a decision - you already know it takes me a long time to decide. ha. I am not sure about how to opaque it... But, I will definitely try. I really do not have to keep the "C" - I was looking on the internet & the ones I liked had the initial... I do really like #3 also... I just thought the photos on the side were too small. I will prob. take the initial off and then put the photo of Kameron in the cowboy hat in b&w on it - the one of her by the tree does not look too good in b&w - that one looks much better in color - then I will make them bigger. I also really like the primary one - and I love the "c" in the middle w/ the red. But, I had no place to put the little tree from # 3 - which I too like it alot... I think it was in a free holiday kit from Shabbyprincess. I did not try the sepia... I seem to like b&w better... but, being the one in #3 of the kids walking on the bridge was so small - I could not see them well - so, thats when I decided to make the card in color... (very late nights... ha.) But, I am always very partial to b&w. Any other ideas... let me know.. I appreciate it. Also, In MM2 - when I am in my album... with all these cards.. If I want to make some adjustments to a card but, still want to keep the original... Can I duplicate it? That way I do not lose the original one? or do I have to start from scratch? I have not had time to read the help menu... and when I tried searching for it last night.... It had alot of letters & numbers... so, My help menu might be messed up... Thank you again... It is greatly appreciated.

WOW...beautiful job Jenna. I love the one you have up and personally I like the colored photos! I like the red "C" in the middle goes nicely w/ the greens and browns. I'm just throwing this out cause your LO's seems to have such great simplicity, if you've never been to designerdigitals.com you've got to see "Team Designers" Deena Wuest aka DeenaW, and Stacey McFadden aka Flowergirl. The have some awesome inspiration going on there! ~Melissa~
JENNA, at 04:03PM on Tuesday October 16, 2007
Thank you!!! I have looked @ designerdigitals.com - but, I will definitely look at those team designers.. The more Christmas cards I do - the more confused I get. I absolutely love b&w pictures... but, sometimes some of them do not show the glowing eye colors... and sometimes it still does... I am working hard and long hours on this... I want my card to be perfect this year... so, everyones help and advice is greatly appreciated.

I second that about the team gallery at DD - they are very talented (lovely too!). I really like your "almost final" card. I think the colors are gorgeous. I think your DH is right that the bottom photos might be slightly "scrunched" but otherwise it's lovely. Have you thought of using a very modern font like Century Gothic? That might work really well with it.
JENNA, at 01:59AM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
I WILL DEFINITELY TRY THAT FONT. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN MAKING MY CARD PERFECT... "IT'S GREATLY APPRECIATED"
MHeher, at 03:19AM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
You're very welcome...you did a great job! Try this and see how it comes out.....put the "2007" in the very lower right corner (under Kamerons name). Like how I'm re-arranging ur LO? ha ha. Your Friends and Family are gonna love this card. I really think the colored photos showcase the childrens eyes and hair color nicely. ~Melissa~
JENNA, at 03:51AM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
Thank you!!! I too like the year in the bottom corner better... but, because I needed to fill up the box @ the top I put it there. Maybe I should change the top left to: Merry Christmas from our family to yours... The Carr Family. Then at the botton right - make the green box a little smaller so I can try to get the closeup's of the kids to looked un-scrunched... and then put: Russell, Jenna, Andrew & Kameron and the year in the botton right corner... I like the little christmas tree on the other layout.. but, it's really too much for this card w/ the "c". Let me know what you think... Thanks everyone!!!!!
MHeher, at 05:32AM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
Oh yes....try that....I think it'd be perfect! I'd put the Christmas tree on there it's not over the top, it would give it a nice holiday touch! I'm anxious to see what it looks like......hurry and post!!! ha ha ~Melissa~
JENNA, at 05:59AM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
I wish I was home & not @ work so I could work on it... ha. I absolutely love MM2 - It's so much fun.. and easy.. but, I don't go to bed until 11pm - 2 am... Thats not good! I was thinking that I could even try the Christmas tree in the circle instead of the "c" I'll post a couple of them once I can find the time to work on it.. Thanks again
MHeher, at 01:43PM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
LOVE IT! It came out perfect!
JENNA, at 03:25PM on Wednesday October 17, 2007
THANKS... I HAD TWO LITTLE HELPERS PRACTICALLY SITTING IN MY LAP WHILE I WAS MAKING THE CHANGES. I REALLY LIKED THE LITTLE GREEN CHRISTMAS TREE BUT,IT DID NOT SHOW UP ON THE OTHER GREEN ... SO, I CHOSE THE RED ONE AND OPAQUED IT - THEN I HAD TO CHANGE THE RED COLOR IN THE INITIAL CIRCLE SO THAT IT WOULD BLEND BETTER. I REALLY LIKED THE OTHER RED... BUT, I THINK THIS IS OK ALSO... THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP... I AM NOT GETTING THEM PRINTED FOR A COUPLE WEEKS.. SO, FEEL FREE TO VOICE YOUR OPINION.. AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP! JENNA
MHeher, at 12:04AM on Thursday October 18, 2007
Are you printing them or are you sending out to be printed? I've never sent anything off to be printed, and I'm curious as to who can do it? What size is the card?
JENNA, at 07:49AM on Thursday October 18, 2007
I AM PROB. GOING TO DO 5X7'S AND WILL TRY PHOTO TEK IN OUR AREA WHICH ALSO HAS A WEBSITE. I THINK IT'S connect2phototek.com. I BOUGHT MY CAMERA FROM THEM AND THINK THEY MAY DO GOOD.. I WILL TRY THEM 1ST BEFORE PRINTING TOO MANY. I PRINTED ALL MY OWN LAST YEAR.. TOO MANY PEOPLE MESSED THEM UP OR CUT ONE SIDE OFF OR PRINTED THE WRONG ONE ON THE CD... SO, I DON'T WANT TO GO THREW THAT THIS YEAR. I SAW THAT THE LADY THAT DID THE BLUE CHRISTMAS CARD ON THE GALLERY USED COSTCO.. BUT, WE DO NOT HAVE ONE NEAR US. I MAY HAVE TO BUY INK AND GOOD PAPER AND DO IT MYSELF... I'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP..

Jenna, I like them all- really cute. But I lean towards theLO's with color pictures, especially because the pictures are soooo good. For printing- Also try scrapbookpictures.com- they have the highest quality, and change only $2.00 for shipping for as many prints as you want- there quality beats them all!!!!!!!! they are REALLY quick too!!!!!
Lynn Grieveson, at 02:18PM on Thursday October 18, 2007

JENNA, at 02:59PM on Thursday October 18, 2007

Hi Jenna, I like the last one (6) I also like the design of (5) but the picture seems to be stretched a little too much. So my vote is for (#6) you really have done an amazing job on all of these cards, I think they have all turned out really great, I think everyone that you send one of these are going to LOVE them! Very well done!
JENNA, at 11:14AM on Sunday October 21, 2007
Thank you for your help. Is their anything that can be done when the pictures look stretched? I guess it's just hard because I was trying to use all 4 pictures... and their is only so much that I can do... then because of the aspect ratio it messes up the look... when it takes some of it off- then it messes up the look of the pictures. Also.. do you know - can I do the circle shape w/ a photo in the middle of it? Their is going to be an update in the new few weeks.. it will have the option to make a duplicate card when working on layouts if you still want to keep the original one...Thank you for your help...

Jenna ~ I like it! I love the colors. I wanted to pass along my new find since you like "simple" I bought a book from Ideabooks4u.com called Clean & Simple Scrapbooking by Cathy Zielske. It's awesome and I think you'll like it. I got it Friday and finished it on Sunday. She's awesome and gives great tips! It'll leave you saying "ahhhh that's how their pages look so awesome" (She has a follow up book which I can't wait to order). Keep me posted if you get it. ([email protected])

Hi Jenna, I am not sure about the stretched picture thing but .....RE:can I do the circle shape w/ a photo in the middle of it? yes, first click on your photo change it to the circle shape, change it to the size you want, then under shapes insert a circle, change the color to what you want at adjust the size to your photo.
